We, as Baby Boomers, have the privilege of being born into a cohort that arrived at a moment of extraordinary expansion — economically, culturally, and technologically. Time passes so quickly. It appears to be a flash in the pan, really a miracle in many ways: a generation rose in the afterglow of global upheaval, stepping into a world that was reinventing itself. We lived through eras that reshaped everything from family structure to geopolitics to the very idea of opportunity. One moment, young, and in a matter of minutes, being elderly. “That line is devastatingly accurate. It’s the kind of truth you only understand once you’ve crossed the midpoint of life and look back to see how quickly the chapters turned. It’s not a lament — it’s a recognition—a kind of awe. One thing I can attest to is that with time comes wisdom.
